Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan’s remake of Tom Hanks’ 1994 classic Forrest Gump, has been in the news since its announcement, and now theatre chains are looking towards the film to launch new cinemas.
The decision, sources said, has been taken to cash in on the high footfall the film is expected to attract.

The launch of the new halls would be planned around Laal Singh Chaddha’s scheduled Christmas 2020 release.
Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
