The 28th Critics’ Choice Awards, held in Los Angeles on January 16, saw Hollywood stars walk the red carpet in some of the most glam outfits. From colourful suits to stunning gowns, here’s a look at what celebrities wore at the awards ceremony.
Andrew Garfield continued showing his love for Zegna outfits at the Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet. Garfield wore a complete tan look — button-down shirt tucked into matching wool trousers and paired with a wool blazer. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for his role in Under the Banner of Heaven.
Anya Taylor-Joy stunned in a Dior Haute Couture see-through dress. The sheer, nude tea-length dress featured scale-like embellishments. The actress opted for a high bun and minimal jewellery to complete the look.
Matt Smith looked suave walking the red carpet in a black satin blouse paired with black trousers and a cream white blazer.
Elle Fanning turned heads in a deconstructed champagne tulle gown from Sarah Burton’s Alexander McQueen. The actress finished the look with gold pumps and a dazzling pair of drop-earrings.
Viola Davis walked the red carpet in a floor-length shimmering gown by Valentino. The Best Actress nominee paired the gown with a matching cape and curved earrings.
Scandal star Kerry Washington donned a gorgeous Giorgio Armani Privé strapless sequined gown embroidered with crystals for the awards ceremony. The bodycon gown was paired with Bvlgari dangle earrings and a metallic eyeshadow look.
Angela Bassett stunned in a strapless tiered gown by Christian Siriano. The actress paired her ruffled-tiered gown with a golden choker and a leopard-print clutch. Angela also won the best supporting actress award for her performance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Sadie Sink’s red-carpet style was on point for the Critics’ Choice Award ceremony. The Stranger Things star opted for a dreamy Chanel dress from the brand’s fall 2022 couture collection. The strapless black dress included a cutout bodice with a shimmery bandeau top and cinched detailing.
Like Anya Taylor-Joy, Lily James also opted to don a sheer dress for the evening. The Pam & Tommy actress wore an Oscar de la Renta dress with a full skirt and a black bow cinching the waist.
Janelle Monáe too opted to walk the red carpet in a head-turning sheer black dress by Vera Wang. The ruched dress with a high neckline and cut-out at the waist was paired with a stunning pair of earcuffs.
