Girish Karnad and Roopa Ganguly star in this Kiran Phadnis film that focuses on dance legend Guru Govind Rajan Kutty’s (Karnad) relationship with his students. Roopa plays Meera, a dance teacher who was Kutty’s student in the past. The film, shot extensively in Calcutta and its outskirts, also stars Rajeev Pillai and Sulagna Panigrahi.

Nanak Shah Fakir
Directed by Sartaj Singh Pannu, the film is based on the teachings of the first Sikh guru Guru Nanak. The film — that has courted controversy in Punjab — stars Adil Hussain and Arif Zakaria.
