With the trailer of Mr and Mrs Mahi being dropped ahead of the film’s May 31 release, fans are excited to see love and cricket collide in this inspirational tale written by Nikhil Mehrotra and Sharan Sharma. Directed by the latter, Mr and Mrs Mahi stars Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. The trailer starts with the two meeting ahead of their arranged marriage. With the same name, the two Mahis set out on an inspirational journey as Rajkummar Rao’s Mahi coaches Janhvi’s Mahi to become a cricketer, so he can live his dream through her. The film comes with the message — “You don’t always have to live your parents’ dream, live yours”.
