My natural beauty elixir is a nice oil massage. I get a home spa Balinese massage with natural oils, especially avocado oil, whenever I am really stressed out. It helps me cope with the high stress which is a part of my lifestyle. The other thing that helps me look good is egg. I eat a lot of eggs and also use them on my hair and skin. I believe egg is the nucleus of life. There is nothing like an egg to give the right amount of bounce to your hair and glow to your skin just before a photo shoot. |
I am 32 years old. Is methi good for hair fall control? If so, how can I use it, and in combination with what kind of ingredients? I have thick naturally wavy hair and a dandruff problem too.

Powdered fenugreek seeds help improve dandruff-prone hair. Mix half a cup of yoghurt with about 2 tsp of powdered fenugreek seeds, 1 tsp each of amla, reetha and shikakai and apply this mask onto your scalp and hair for about 40 minutes. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Done twice a week, it will improve the texture and quality of your hair tremendously.
I am a 25-year-old woman. I have combination skin. My problem is that I have open pores resulting from pimples I used to have before. What can I do to remedy this?

Most of us who have combination skin forget to treat our skin like two separate skin types. Always keep the forehead, nose and chin oil-free. Make a tonic with 100ml of spring water, 2 tsp neem leaves, 2 tsp mint leaves and simmer on a slow fire for 10 minutes. Cool and strain this and add half a teaspoon of camphor powder. To 2 tsp of Fuller’s earth add enough of this tonic to make a smooth thick paste and apply on the oily and open-pores affected areas of the skin. Wash off when dry. Do this daily for a week for best results.
