“I loved the food. The taste was very fresh, refined and balanced. And I could make out the true flavours of the dishes. It just melts in your mouth,” said Chitrangada who had a second helping of the prawn. “It’s such a warm and welcoming place,” echoed Parno and Chitrangada.  “I loved the Steamed Sticky Rice with Prawn and Mushroom,” said Parno. Chef Raymond Wong has curated the menu. Ahare Mon, directed by Pratim D. Gupta, has a strong food connect as well. In the film, Anjan Dutt and Mamata Shankar have biryani and chaap at Shiraz, while Ritwick Chakraborty and Parno enjoy Chinese food. “And for some reason, my scenes were shot post lunch!” said Parno. Ahare Mon releases on June 22.

“This is when I finally managed to hold the chopsticks. Parno is a pro though,” smiled Chitrangada. Pictures: Rashbehari Das
