LG Electronics India on Friday said the company is investing Rs 200 crore in its Pune facility to strengthen its refrigerator manufacturing capacity.

“Localisation has been a key differentiator as we have continuously developed products based on Indian insights. Last year we started manufacturing window inverter AC in India at the Noida manufacturing facility and this year we are starting side-by-side refrigerator production in India. With skilled workforce and cutting-edge technologies at our disposal, we are optimistic of catering to the needs of our consumers,” said Hong Ju Jeon, managing director, LG Electronics India.
