MindTree Consulting, an IT services company, has acquired Linc Software Services Pvt Ltd in an undisclosed stock and cash deal. The acquisition was announced by Ashok Soota, MindTree chairman and managing director. He said the two investors in Linc ? ICF and Infinity ? will get cash, and its co-founders part-cash and part-stock. MindTree clocked a revenue of $55 million in 2004-05, while Linc logged $7 million.
Flextronics Software Systems has reported a 40 per cent year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit for 2004-05 at Rs 107.8 crore. Sales grew 33 per cent at Rs 481 crore. For the fourth quarter ended March 31, the consolidated net profit rose 42 per cent to Rs 30 crore.
