Quess debut

Mumbai, July 12: The shares of staffing firm Quess Corp today made a spectacular debut on the bourses, ending the day with a 59 per cent gain on an issue price of Rs 317. After listing at Rs 499, reflecting a huge premium of 57.41 per cent on the BSE, the stock finally ended at Rs 503, up 58.68 per cent. During the day, it zoomed 60.44 per cent to Rs 508.60. On the NSE, the shares of the company soared 58.70 per cent to end at Rs 503.10.

Minacs deal

Mumbai, July 12: SYNNEX Corporation, a US-based business process service company, is acquiring Minacs for a consideration of $420 million (Rs 2,822 crore).

GoAir planes

Mumbai, July 12: GoAir has signed an MoU with Airbus to buy an additional 72 A320neo aircraft. This will take the total order book to 144 aircraft. The first two planes as part of this order were delivered in June.

Megaupload

New York, July 12: Flamboyant German tech entrepreneur Kim Dotcom is planning to relaunch file-sharing website Megaupload in January 2017, five years after the US government took down the site accusing it of piracy.
