Hyderabad, Nov. 18: The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved the power purchase agreement between the state and BPL Power Projects to set up a 520-MW thermal plant at Ramagundam.

Raising the threshold plant load factor from 68.49 per cent to 80 per cent for fixed cost recovery, no incentive for deemed generation and adjustment of interest on monthly return on equity payments and non-inclusion of interest in land cost were some changes ordered by the board.
