Patna, May 24: Ankur Arman, a final-year student of Patna College, has developed a website www.techednext.com containing information on more than 500 books related to bachelor of computer applications (BCA) and master of computer application (MCA) courses.

Inaugurating the website, state human resource development (HRD) minister P.K. Shahi, said: “Talents like Arman are inspiration for others. It is a great work. The information is in simple language, which every student will understand.”

Arman has uploaded text from 500 books apart from 400 PDF notes. The website also contains 200 Powerpoint presentations related to computer basics like MS Word, Java, C+, C++ and others.

Arman is the youngest student from Patna University to write a book on computer and developed a website related to the subject.

Shahi said: “The state has talents. The only thing required is determination and proper guidance so that students like Arman get a platform to showcase their skills.”

Prior to creating the website Arman has also written a book on computer titled — Programming @speed of light — which deals with various aspects of computer programming, from a basic level to a higher level.

Ankur after the release of his book said: “I have done my matriculation and intermediate from Bihar board and prior to joining the Patna University I did not have any information about computer programming.”

He said: “While pursuing my studies, I faced a lot of problems in understanding programming. I was determined to crack it and kept reading various books on the subject.”

He said: “I had collected large number of books on programming. These books were very useful in writing my book.”

He said: “After completing the book, I thought of uploading these on the website and it took four months to complete the website.”

He said the website also contains video lecture on computer so that children can understand the technicalities in an easy way.
