Patna: The 10 Circular Road bungalow, where RJD chief Lalu Prasad's family lives, will soon sport a signboard declaring "No entry for Nitish Kumar", Tej Pratap Yadav said on Sunday.
Asked about his take on Nitish after his younger brother Tejashwi Prasad Yadav made it clear that the chief minister would not be taken back in the Grand Alliance, Tej Pratap said: "Very soon I am going to put up a signboard outside 10 Circular Road residence with the message of 'Nitish chacha no entry'."
Few days ago, leader of Opposition Tejashwi had ruled out any possibility of another alliance with Nitish in the aftermath of buzz about growing differences between the JDU and the BJP over the seat-sharing formula for next year's general election and about the Bihar Congress leadership's willingness to join hands with Nitish once again if he snaps ties with the BJP.
Sources in the RJD confirmed that Tejashwi is adamant on not taking back Nitish.
"The RJD will not get any benefit even though Nitish comes back to Grand Alliance," said RJD national vice-president Shivanand Tiwari.
"Moreover, what is the guarantee that Nitish will not go back to the BJP. After taking him back, what if Nitish says that he will not compromise until he get 30 seats in Lok Sabha otherwise he will go back to the BJP? Who can trust him? He has lost his political credibility. At one time he said communalism was the biggest threat to the nation and the symbol was... a person named Narendra Modi. Today he is sitting on the lap of the same Modi."
The former parliamentarian stressed that the RJD's social base considers Nitish their enemy and claimed the top leadership of the Congress has no problem with the RJD in Bihar.
