Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is preparing itself to achieve a good rank under the National Institutional Ranking Framework.

The university administration on Saturday convened a meeting, which was chaired by university vice-chancellor Harish Chandra Singh Rathore. He asked the officials to prepare a report on the progress of the university.

According to a University Grants Commission (UGC) directive, educational institutions have to register with the National Institution Ranking Framework portal with the aim of bringing transparency within infrastructure, student-teacher ratio, placements, research work among others .

Rathore said: "Profiles of faculty members with details such as educational qualifications, research projects and grants received, published papers and articles in reputed national and international journals, should be ready."?

Officials will file information on total student enrolment with gender details and pass percentage.

The university has constituted a five-member committee to collect data on academics and infrastructure. It has been asked to upload the data on the National Institutional Ranking Framework portal by December 31.
