Jamui police on Wednesday morning nabbed two suspected Maoist associates who were allegedly passing on information to the rebels about a CRPF officer in the district.
Jagannath Yadav was arrested at Kathbazra village, while Pankaj Singh was caught at Maheshwari village.
Upendra Sharma, the Jamui superintendent of police, said the two were arrested during a raid carried out with the CRPF. The cops had received a tip-off that the duo were passing on information about assistant commandant of the 131st battalion of CRPF, Sadaram Singh.
