The government railway police (GRP) on Sunday arrested two persons and rescued a teenaged girl from the Saharsa-Danapur Intercity Express.
The arrested persons were allegedly taking the girl from Madhepura district to sell her in a red light area.
Superintendent of rail police (Patna) Prakash Nath Mishra said: 'A GRP team carried out a search in the Danapur-bound express at Mokama railway station and arrested two suspects. The girl was handed over to her parents.'
The links of the arrested persons with human traffickers were being verified.
