ALOK KUMAR IN GAYA Published 31.03.12, 12:00 AM

Central University of Bihar Construction Struggling Committee (CUBCSC) has decided to go ahead with a bandh call in April to press for setting up the varsity in Gaya.

An 11-member CUBCSC delegation met chief minister Nitish Kumar in Patna on Friday and handed over a memorandum. Former minister and senior Congress leader Awadhesh Kumar Singh told The Telegraph: “The chief minister told us that he is bound by his commitment for the CUB in Motihari. He expressed his inability to revert from the decision and extend support to Gaya, as the proposal has been passed in both Houses.”
