Swachh awareness duty

A Swachhagrahi team has been formed to create awareness among Patna residents about Swachhata Sarvekshan 2018 for their participation and getting a good rank for the city.

Patna: A Swachhagrahi team has been formed to create awareness among Patna residents about Swachhata Sarvekshan 2018 for their participation and getting a good rank for the city.

Public relations agency Astitva Advertisement Private Limited, selected for the promotion of the survey, has formed the team.

"Patna is participating in the category of cities with more than 10 lakh population with 59 other cities. Today, Patna's rank was 40 out of the 60 cities but our PR agency has formed a team to create awareness among the people to take part in the survey in big numbers," said the agency's managing director, O.P. Tiwary.

The team is participating in a cricket premier league with several corporate teams, interacting with people assembling at the venue.

"Total 1,400 marks are allotted in the citizen feedback category of Swachhata Sarvekshan out of 4,000 points. Residents can participate in the survey by uploading their complaints on civic issues on the Swachhata App available on Google Play Store. They can also post picture of areas where filth is strewn around. The municipal corporation is supposed to address the issue within a fixed timeframe to earn good points. All this is being communicated to the residents at the match venues," said Tiwary.
