Patna: The state economic survey for 2017-18 will have different sections, including the socio-economic impact of prohibition, deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said on Friday.

Modi, who also heads the finance department, said the report will shed light on damages caused by the floods, impact of implementation of the seven resolves, use of neem-coated urea and direct benefit transfer.

The survey has been presented since 2005-06 and the latest report will be the 12th in the series. The survey will be published in two sections for the first time. The first will deal with the different sectors and the second will highlight the data and figures.

The government's centre for economic policy and public finance prepares the report. The body is in the process of compiling the data.

Modi women empowerment through the Jeevika project, change in kerosene use following the successful implementation of rural electrification and impact of use of organic fertilisers will figure in this year's economic survey as well.

The Bihar Rural Livelihoods project is known as the Jeevika project and under this around 7.5 lakh self-help groups have been formed.

Bihar has electrified all of its 39,073 revenue villages and now, work is on to electrify all the habitations. The government aims to complete the work by May this year.
