Residents celebrate Lohri at Hajiganj in Patna City on Wednesday. Song and dance marked the celebrations at Lala Lajpath Rai Memorial Hall too. The celebrations were organised by the Punjabi Biradri. Members of the Punjabi community came dressed in colourful attire and greeted everyone. As many as 500 members sang and danced to the tunes of popular, toe-tapping Punjabi songs as they moved around a bonfire into which they offered items. Bhangra and giddha dances were performed.
