Patna: The Patna Smart City Limited, the special purpose vehicle to implement the smart city project, has approved constituting a city-level advisory forum that will ensure participation of all sections of society to develop a collaborative and inclusive smart city infrastructure.

Chairman of the special purpose vehicle Anand Kishor presided over the board of directors' meeting. He said Patna ranked 22 in the smart city project and development was undergoing satisfactorily.

A press release said the proposal for an independent director has been approved while the managing director of Patna Smart City Limited has given the right to incur expenditure upto Rs 60 lakh. The corporation would also have its own internal audit system.
