Chief minister Nitish Kumar released two books on the nation’s first President Dr Rajendra Prasad compiled by Bihar State Archives Directorate. Nitish released the books titled Dr Rajendra Prasad: Select documents and Walking Down the Lane: A Pictoral Tribute to Dr Rajendra Prasad. Nitish said: “We are going to set up a world-class museum on Bailey Road in the capital. The concept is being given final touches with the help of international experts. We will also take the help of local historians.” The chief minister released another book titled Bhukamp ka itihas by Bharti Sharma. Nitish said: “The city has grown in an unplanned manner and it is difficult to carry out rescue operations through narrow lanes but the government has now taken steps to control such unplanned growth.” The editorial board members of the two books on Rajendra Prasad and ministers in Nitish’s cabinet, Narendra Singh, Bhim Singh, SN Arya and Awadhesh Prasad Kushwaha, were also present at the ceremony held at the chief minister’s secretariat on Wednesday.
