Narendra Modi chants Hundreds of BJP workers were seen carrying posters of Narendra Modi and raising slogans in his support. “We are great fans of Narendra Modi and it is very disappointing that he was not invited to Bihar during the recently-held Assembly election. He is a good leader and a star campaigner, his presence in Bihar would have helped BJP gain some more seats and instead of 91, we could have crossed a century,” claimed a supporter
Price hike protest Many BJP workers from Kumhrar Assembly constituency raised anti-government slogans with posters in hand and wearing garlands of vegetables, holding petrol in a bottle and a cooking gas atop the head. They sought a stop on the price hike but the senior BJP leaders sitting on the stage ignored them till former state BJP chief Radha Mohan Singh came on the dais and said: “Why are you wasting your energy and shouting at the top of your voices? This is not the right platform to protest, we are here to felicitate you, not to register your protest”
BJP workers fall on stage The sammelan organising committee decided to felicitate nine workers from different districts such as Patna, Bhagalpur, Ara and six more, as more than 15,000 BJP workers had joined the rally and it was not possible to felicitate each and everyone individually
Cinestar disappoints fans ‘Shotgun’ Shatrughan Sinha is always criticised over his late arrival and this has resulted in a big disappointment for his fans. The felicitation programme started at 12 noon and most of the leaders have gathered by 12.30 pm. Thousands of workers waited to see Shatrughan Sinha but he arrived at 2.20pm, waved to the crowd, shook hands with the deputy chief minister, addressed the gathering and left the stage at 2.35 pm
