Sikh devotees take out a procession in Patna City on Sunday as part of the Guru Parv celebrations organised by Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib. “Of the 5,000 devotees, 500 came from foreign countries, including England and Malaysia. Though we have tried to arrange guesthouses for the devotees, we couldn’t make accommodation available to all of them. We have asked residents to provide shelter to the guests,” said RS Jeet, senior vice-president, temple management committee, Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib.
