She urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for action against those who continue to issue communal statements and said his achchhe din was still not a reality. "The Prime Minister of our country is a good orator. But his announcements have not taken shape yet. Various Sangh organisations continue to issue communal statements," she said. IPTA centre has requested the state government to form a local panchayat cultural body to woo artists rural areas. "In order to promote art culture and cinema, National Film Development Corporation of India should also start distribution of films. We want small theatres than multiplexes as the tax paid to the latter increases the cost of films" she said.Text by Shambhavi Singh, picture by Nagendra Kumar Singh
