| Final-year students of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna, showcase their creations at Fashionova 2012 at SK Memorial Hall in Patna on Monday. Twenty-eight students from NIFT’s first batch showcased the outfits they designed during their four-year course. Jayati Singh, one of the participants at the fashion show, named her collection Aqua Mystery. Blue was the dominant colour of her collection. Jayati said: “These kind of shows give us a lot of confidence and a good medium to showcase our creativity. With the experience we gather here, we can perform better when we enter the professional world.” Toni Sharma, an assistant professor at NIFT, Patna, also commended the students on their effort. “We are happy that the first batch of NIFT, Patna, is ready to showcase their collection in front of so many people.
