Power Grid Corporation of India Limited eastern zone employees perform at the annual cultural programme at Rabindra Bhavan in Patna on Thursday. The event began with the executive director of the corporation, Bhaskar Sharma, lighting the inaugural lamp. Employees of eight sub-regions of the corporation showcased their talent by performing dance, music and theatre. The theme of the event was peace. Sharma said: “It is always a great pleasure to be a part of a programme like this. It provides a welcome break to the employees from their daily routine. It also provides an opportunity to showcase their talent.” The team from Ara presented a dance on “Unity in diversity”, while the performers from Pusauli put up a skit on Gandhian philosophy.
