Inspectors-general A.K. Ambedkar and Paresh Saxena are among the 16 policemen who have been selected for police medal. Other recipients included DIGs Amit Kumar Jain, Pankaj Darad, Kamal Kishore Singh and Anil Kishore Yadav.
Two sub-inspectors — Pravendra Bharti and R.P.
