' Hamaar film phuntastic haie,' said Aamir and the fans lauded.

Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist was in the city to promote his upcoming movie PK. So floored was Aamir by the response of his fans that he could not resist from making a candid appearance. And why not? His fans had braved the 13°C temperature and started thronging P&M Mall from 9am.

Owing to poor weather, Aamir could show up only around 3pm. By then, thousands had jam-packed the road along the mall up to Kurji Mor. Sonam, who was there with a placard bearing collage of Aamir's pictures, could not control her excitement when the actor arrived. 'I have waited for more than six hours. My patience has paid off,' she said.

Aamir said: 'This movie is special for Bihar since I have tried to speak Bhojpuri. I apologise in advance if there has been any mistake in my diction.' The film releases on December 19.

'I would watch this movie for sure. I am really excited to know PK hai kya?(What is PK?). I would love to watch Aamir speak Bhojpuri,' said Shubham, a Patna University student.

'Bhojpuri is a significant element of the film. To get my diction correct, I trained with Shanti Bhushan for more than four months.I used to write the words phonetically to get the proper pronunciation. Bhojpuri will add colour and charm to the film,' said the versatile actor.

When The Telegraph asked Aamir how he did not blink his eyes even for a minute during the film, he said:'Hirani ji asked me not to wink. We shot it and it was perfect. The character has got many quirks. It was really tough to get into the character but we did it finally.'

The actor, who is fond of litti chokha (a Bihar delicacy) didn't give it a miss. While returning to the airport, he visited Raj Sweets near gate No. 1 of Patna zoo. 'I can't miss litti chokha for anything,' said Aamir.

Bihari Rai, the owner of Raj Sweets, was on cloud nine. 'I am really happy that he came here. I was not informed earlier else I would have made some special dishes. I am really floored by his down-to-earth nature,' said Rai.

However, Aamir's fans at Ara were disappointed, as the actor couldn't visit Bhojpur as the administration cited law and order issues.
