The district administration on Monday issued prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC around Patna College and Patna Science College to avoid any untoward incident during the postgraduate examinations.

Sources said the order was issued in the wake of information from Patna University that some unscrupulous elements might create trouble at the exam centres. Examinations for postgraduate courses would be conducted on November 19, 21, 26 and 28.

The prohibitory orders would be effective on the examination days from 1pm. They would be effective till the completion of the exam.
