Bank workshop
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday organised two workshops to spread awareness about foreign exchange rules.
Residents attended the first workshop while the second was organised for bankers, authorised dealers and representative of industries. Speaking at the Bihar Industries Association conference hall, RBI regional director M.K. Verma talked about the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), which regulates foreign currency use by people for external trade and payments.
Talk on diabetes
Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in collaboration with World Health Organisation(WHO) organised a consultation on diabetes on Thursday.
Experts talked about the rise in diabetes and emphasised the need to step up prevention and treatment of the disease.
