The weeklong workshop, which will end on June 1, is based on activities related to the state's traditional handicrafts.

Students made different kinds of wall hangings, baskets, bird nests, paperweights, jewellery, pillow covers, bed sheets and glass paintings using raw materials such as marble and terracotta.

"Every student will get participation certificates. The prizes for the first three positions will be given to those who excel in each of the activities," said Sansthan deputy director Ashok Kumar Sinha.
