Patna Science College inked a memorandum of understanding with the Union Bank of India on Monday for "online submission of application form and fee" by students appearing for entrance examinations to undergraduate courses in different colleges under Patna University.

The agreement entails students taking admission or studying at Patna Science College to deposit their fees at the Union Bank of India counters.

College principal U.K. Sinha said with the pact will ensure more transparency in the institution's financial accounting.

Patna University vice-chancellor Y.C. Simhadri and Union Bank of India regional head S.K. Mahapatra signed the memorandum. Simhadri asked other colleges to follow the college's initiative.
