Vasan Eye Care, in collaboration with World Glaucoma Association, conducted an awareness-cum-interactive session at Vasan Eye Care Hospital on Wednesday. Doctors discussed the technological advancements in glaucoma treatment.

Vasan Eye Care, conducts numerous free eye checkups around the city, especially for glaucoma patients. Glaucoma is a condition that causes damage to the optic nerve and gets worse over time.

"If a person has a family history of diabetes or glaucoma, it is advisable to visit a doctor frequently," said Ajit Kumar, an ophthalmologist.

Festival for women

Bihar Council of Women organised Holi Milan - to celebrate International Women's Day and the upcoming Holi - at Lady Stepehen's Hall on Wednesday.

The theme of the event was vamps of India. "Everyday should be Women's Day as we work hard to look after our families and also our professional lives," said Veena Gupta, president of the organisation.
