Sayed Hasan, a mass communication department teacher of Patna College, launched a convergence model, which he has developed, at a city hotel on Sunday.

Hasan claimed that his model would help strengthen the state government's Bihar @ 2025 campaign, which aims to ensure public participation in policy making and to produce a vision document on the state's future development.

He said the state could work on fixing the loopholes, which prevent certain schemes from reaching the beneficiaries.

Anniversary

Boogi Woogi song and dance institute celebrated its 11th anniversary at Premchand Rangshala, on Sunday.

The students presented a cultural programme where they danced on the various Bollywood numbers. A fashion show was also organised.

Institute director Anil Raj said: "Music, dance and modeling are considered as one of the best career options today."

Tribute

Hanan Maula, a national polit bureau member of CPI (ML), on Sunday unveiled a statue of late CPI (ML) leader Ajit Sarkar at his house in Patna.

The programme was organised by Shaheed Ajit Sarkar Smriti Smaraoh Samiti.

Maula and other dignitaries talked about the contribution of Sarkar for agricultural labourers in this country. Economist N.K Choudhary, one of the speakers, talked about changing Sarkar's house into a memorial.
