The state government on Wednesday transferred 130 officers of the Bihar Administrative Services. In addition, 30 deputy development commissioners were also shifted.
The government had earlier transferred 134 officers of Bihar Police Service, including deputy superintendents of police of Patna (city), Patna sadar, Patna (law and order) and Phulwarisharif. Promoted officers got field postings ahead of the Assembly polls.
The BJP and LJP had raised objections over the mass transfer of officers before the polls. The leaders of the two parties had complained to the chief election commissioner last week.
