Cong quota demand

Patna, Jan. 7: The Bihar Congress on Saturday demanded implementation of 4.5 per cent sub-quota for minorities within the 27 per cent quota for other backward castes (OBC) in central government jobs and central educational institutions in the state. The state government, which has completely failed to implement the centrally sponsored schemes meant for minorities, should implement 4.5 per cent sub quota within the 27 per cent quota for the OBC as soon as possible. We will chalk out a strategy to launch an agitation if the government fails to notify it immediately,” Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Choudhary Mehboob Ali Quaiser told reporters here.
