Students in math olympiad

Patna: Four students from the district have qualified for the final round of mathematics Olympiad. bhishek Raj, Suraj Prakash, Mehul Smriti Raje and Pooja Sinha are the four who qualified from the district. The final round will be conducted on February 6 this year.

Statement

Patna: Girigesh Kumar on Friday gave his statement in the court of sub-divisional judicial magistrate, Deena Nath Singh, in connection with a case of Rabri Devi using unconstitutional language against JD (U) leaders Rajeev Ranjan Singh and Nitish Kumar in 2009 at Garkha in Chhapra.

Fake stamps

Patna: Four persons, including a notary magistrate of Patna, were produced in court of chief judicial magistrate, Patna, on Friday in connection with recovery of fake non-judicial and judicial stamps.

Registration

Patna: St Joseph’s Convent High School, Bankipore will conduct registrations for Class I on Saturday. There are 240 seats for the class. The Jethuli branch will conduct registrations for admissions in Upper KG and Class I on January 8, 9 and 10.

Condolence

Patna: A condolence meeting was held on Friday afternoon on the premises of Bihar Chamber of Commerce to pay last respect to former president late Harihar Nath who died on Thursday. Members including the president, officer bearers paid their last respect to the departed soul.

State honour

Patna: Nitish Kumar on Friday paid his last respect to former minister Tej Narayan Jha. He has directed the funeral will get state honours and said the state has lost a great politicians and social activist.
