Patna: East Central Railway chief commercial manager Dipak Chabra on Tuesday underlined the need for continuous efforts to expand the ambit of services for passengers while addressing officials of the commercial wing at Hajipur. n the revenue front, Chabra told the participating officials that there was scope of generating additional revenue through advertisement. He also issued a directive to launch a special drive to catch passengers travelling without tickets.

Rights notice

Patna: Bihar State Human Rights Commission on Tuesday issued a notice to Sunil Singh of Hiranandpur village in the state capital, who lost his two-month-old child on May 31, the day NDA had called a bandh. The commission issued the notice after Patna district administration submitted a report in response to the commission’s notice to it seeking the report. The action was taken in response to a report published in The Telegraph on June 1.
