Tech boost to tax dept

Patna: Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday directed the commercial taxes department officials to complete the computerisation process of the department in the current fiscal. odi issued the directive while chairing a review meeting of the department held on Monday.

Patna: Ministry of home affairs has sanctioned the creation of 85 new police stations in the Naxalite-hit areas of Bihar at a cost of Rs 2 crore per police station.

Missing

Patna: The Patliputra police station has lodged a missing diary related to the disappearance of three boys. The boys, identified as Utkarsh, Vipul and Vikas, went missing three days back.

Sex racket

Patna: A flat was raided on Sunday night and three men and a girl in an allegedly compromising position were arrested by officers of SK Puri police station. The police said there was a sex racket being run in the flat.
