Water tanks Body found Power cut Meeting

Patna: Standing committee of Patna Municipal Corporation in its meeting on Tuesday gave approval for the issuance of no-objection certificate for the construction of 12 overhead water tanks under the ongoing Patna Water Supply project. he project is being executed by consortium of Geo Miller & Company Private Limited and Gammon India Limited, selected in February this year by Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation. The standing committee also approved the installation of 50 CFL street lights in every ward and beautification of PMC’s community hall at SK Puri.

Body found

Patna: Police on Tuesday found the body of a boy aged about eight years from a tank of an under-construction house at Adarsh Colony.

Power cut

Patna: There would be power cut for five hours from 11.30am on Thursday in areas like Sarifaganj, Sadra, Ritabganj, Chhoti Nagla, Bhattipar, Gauridas Ki Mandi and Check-post Didarganj because of maintenance work of 33/11KV Katra Power Sub-Station and 33KV Katra feeder.
