Trader shot Probe Arrest Convention Bribery case

Trader shot

Patna: Businessman Janardan Prasad was injured on Friday when criminals shot at him at the busy vegetable market near Sheetla Mandir under the jurisdiction of Agamkuan police station. The incident occurred around noon. Prasad’s condition is stable, said police.

Probe

Buxar: Police on Friday handed over the body of constable Sudhir Kumar (37), who committed suicide on Thursday, to his relatives and formed a team to probe why he killed himself. Sudhir was recently transferred to the Model police station from Rajpur.

Arrest

Ara: Mantoo Singh, one of the main accused of the recent hooch tragedy that claimed 21 lives, was arrested from his Nawada house on Friday.

Patna: Special CBI judge Vijay Kumar Srivastava on Friday sentenced former mukhiya Munnilal Paswan and Dalsingh Sarai railway station employee Bindeswar to three years’ rigorous imprisonment in a bribery case.
