Board nod to licence

Patna: The board of Patna Municipal Corporation in its meeting held on Thursday approved putting in place municipal trade licences and payment of taxes through netbanking, credit and debit cards and others. he board also gave an in-principle approval to the proposal of Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation for renovation of the Mauryalok Complex.

Hunkar barb

Patna: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Bihar-Jharkhand unit chief, Sidhi Nath Singh, on Thursday blamed the state government for security lapses leading to the bomb blasts at the BJP’s Hunkar Rally at Gandhi Maidan on October 27.

Function

Health order

Patna: The high court division bench of Justice Navin Sinha and Justice Shailesh Kumar Sinha on Thursday directed the principal secretary, health, to file a reply on the steps the government is taking for the treatment of mentally challenged persons in the state. The reply has been sought by November 26.

Building PIL

Patna: A high court division bench on Thursday directed the government not to take any action on apartments and complexes built prior to May 10, 2013 while hearing a PIL on the mushrooming of high-rises in the city.

Facelift reply

Patna: A high court division bench on Thursday directed the government to file its reply by November 25 on a PIL seeking directions to improve civic amenities and infrastructure at the Maurya Lok Complex.
