Patna: Three hardcore criminals were arrested by Patna police from Delhi on Wednesday. enior superintendent of police Manu Maharaj said the criminals — Ravi Mord, Chotu alias Prince and Anup — had been involved in several incidents and were planning to kill jailed criminals Shankar Verma and Ajay Verma.

Graft verdict

Patna: Special CBI judge Bashishth Narayan Singh on Thursday sentenced former superintendent Nityanand Pathak and assistant accountant Suresh Prasad Singh of RMS, Samastipur, to three years’ rigorous imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 45,000 each in connection with a bribery case.
