Police raid Building work Seizure Award Workshop Envoy visit

Police raid

Patna: Around 4,800kg of ammonium nitrate was seized during a raid at Rudrapura village on Thursday. Rohtas superintendent of police Vikas Barman said police stumbled upon plastic bags containing explosives when they were being stored in a farmhouse owned by one Bengali Singh Yadav.

Building work

Patna: The vigilance court of Patna Municipal Corporation on Thursday issued an order to stop work at an under-construction building in Phulwarisharif, within 100 meters from Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport. The G+4 building was being constructed in the red zone (within 100m of the airport) without mandatory clearance from Airports Authority of India.

Seizure

Hajipur: Voters’ identity cards, driving licences, seals of government officials and other documents were seized by Hajipur Town police on Thursday from a shop.

Award

Patna: Patna, Ara, Muzaffarpur and Biharsharif divisions of PNB have been shortlisted for an award given by Union home ministry.
