Patna: The students’ union members of BD College on Tuesday submitted a memorandum at Raj Bhavan requesting the governor to turn down the private universities’ bill, passed by the legislative bodies in the last session. Patna: Congress state president Ashok Choudhary on Tuesday announced the formation of several committees. He formed a program implementation committee under Brajesh Pandey. He also appointed former MLA Jaganath Rai the state convener for district booth committees. Patna: Federation of Railway Officers’ Association on Tuesday gave a farewell to East Central Railway (ECR) chief administrative officer G.S. Tiwari on his retirement. ECR general manager Madhuresh Kumar praised his service and said Tiwari has given the right direction to the railway administration. Patna: Punjab National Bank Swarojgar Vikash Sansthan on Tuesday concluded its month-long free beautification management training camp. Thirty-six trainees got certificates. The bank officials promised to conduct more such camps.
