Parlour raids

Patna, April 20: Over a dozen men and women were arrested following a raid at four beauty parlours in the Exhibition Road area on Saturday.he parlours have been sealed by personnel of Gandhi Maidan police station.

Held guilty

Patna: A special CBI court headed by Justice Bashishtha Narayan Singh on Saturday held two junior engineers and a contractor guilty in a case related to gross irregularities in the allotment of bitumen in 1994.

Murder

Patna: A retired official of the prisons department, R.B. Rajak (70), was killed following an alleged property dispute at Kerap village in Aurangabad district on Friday night.

Three dead

Bhagalpur (PTI): Three persons were killed and eight others were injured when a bus collided with a motorcycle near Bhavanipur on NH-31 in the district on Saturday.
