New flight in festive season

Patna, Sept. 21: Come October 15, Jet Airways would start operations of its new 62-seater flight between Patna and Ahmedabad via Lucknow and Indore. The same aircraft would connect Calcutta, making it the third Jet Airways flight on the Calcutta-Patna-Calcutta route.

Sources told The Telegraph that the new flight (9W-2513) would depart from Ahmedabad airport at 6.25am and land at Indore at 7.45am.

From Indore, the plane would take off at 8.15am and arrive at Lucknow airport at 10.10am. It would then leave Lucknow airport at 10.40am to reach Patna airport at 11.55am.

It would take off from Patna at 12.25pm and reach Calcutta at 1.50pm.

The same flight with a different number (9W 2514) would leave Calcutta at 2.35pm and land in Patna at 4pm. After half-an-hour, it would be air borne again and reach Lucknow at 5.55pm.

From Lucknow, the plane would take off at 6.25pm and arrive at Indore airport at 8.30pm. From Indore, it would leave at 9pm to reach Ahmedabad at 10.20pm.

This would be the only direct flight from Patna airport to Indore and Ahmedabad offered by any airline. Moreover, it would be the sixth flight of Jet Airways operating via Patna airport.
