Patna, Nov. 27: The BJP’s central parliamentary board and prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi would decide on tickets for the 2014 elections and not the state unit led by Sushil Kumar Modi.

The BJP national vice-president and senior party leader from the state, C.P. Thakur, today made the announcement.

The BJP leader also said Narendra Modi would address five different rallies in the state before the next parliamentary elections.

The rallies would take place in Bihar’s north, south, east and west.

The dates of the rally would be decided after results of the ongoing Assembly elections are declared.

Thakur, who recently returned to Patna from a conference in Italy, said: “There is strong current in support of Narendra Modi, especially among the youth, and there will be only one factor in the elections.”

Blaming the state government for dismal performance on all accounts, the BJP leader said the fate of primary education and higher education in the state has gone down.
