THE TIME MACHINE
The merciless school ….the study sickness,
And the habit of facing teachers acidic songs,
For I thought of completing the notes later...
But this clock always proves me wrong.
I cursed the subjects now and then,
Which made me nothing but a killer of time,
Till my mind struck a brilliant idea,
And I dreamt of myself travelling through time.
I wished I knew more of science,
For I would have made a time machine for sure;
And travel back to the rosy past,
And live my childhood once more.
I dreamt of passing lightning flashes,
When time began to blur;
The earth and clock moving anticlockwise,
Till I reach the place where peace had won.
Being weak in science has always been shameful,
The theories will definitely turn you into a maniac;
But if I had a time machine, I promise,
There wouldn’t be any subject like that.
I would have gone back in time,
When the apple was about to fall on Newton’s head,
Replace the apple with a pumpkin,
Newton would have gone to a hospital bed.
Not to spare that Thompson,
Busy discovering electrons and proton,
I would have disturbed all his equations,
Explosions would have followed on and on.
Making a time machine is impossible for me,
It’s a task like searching for stars
But if I succeed in reality
For me it would be a dream come true.
