Innocent eyes

The eyes that wanted to see,

something special and new.

the eyes that wanted to shine,

attractions that drew.

Innocent eyes those were,

purity and charm;

wanted to say something,

wanted no harm.

Innocent eyes had seen days of fun,

just happiness around;

those eyes knew nothing wrong,

only calm sound.

When someone looked into those eyes,

suddenly they became shy;

dreams, desire and destiny hoped,

those eyes wanted to fly.

Innocent eyes those were,

depth of emotions;

innocent eyes was signature of love,

filled with determination.

A new wave aroused,

those eyes winked;

couldn't see the path,

with fear those eyes shrieked.

Suddenly innocent eyes saw things,

couldn't find a way out;

materialist world tried to spoil,

innocent eyes wanted to shout.

The world showed sympathy,

innocent eyes thought it be a come back;

but, clever world,

knew what the innocent eyes lack.

In search of a new way,

those eyes lost the innocence;

charm went away,

the innocent eyes got back sense.

Innocent eyes had now seen,

how the world uses;

those eyes now knew reality,

and how world accuses.

Mistake of the innocent eyes,

felt betrayed;

innocent eyes now looks miserable,

searches for the charm she possessed.

Tears roll down,

in hour of loneliness;

innocent eyes wants to be cured,

all over in strangeness...
